Checking in

Of course the first time I start working on this blog is during quarantine.

Nothing must has happened the first two weeks, but I find it is very difficult for me to stay on top of my work. I’m falling behind where I used to be able to just barely keep up. Not that anything of note has happened, it’s just a change of environment that isn’t working very well for me, but in general I have a poor work ethic.

There’s a lot to think about, I guess. I have nothing too deep on my mind at the moment; I just want to focus on graduating and leveling up in my games but it’s definitely hitting me in a way that is not very noticeable yet familiar. More thoughts to come in the weeks ahead.

I still don’t have a solid plan for this blog. I originally wanted to talk about music but a year later I find myself still no more knowledgeable than I was a year ago, so I will talk about other things, like shows I’ve watched, books I’ve read, games I play. Anything I consume, basically. Let’s hope it works out. It’s a little embarrassing to say, but it only took me this long to remember I can blog because I didn’t feel like digging up the password, and I’m currently taking custody of my parents’ Bluetooth keyboard to type on my iPad.

So I Changed My Mind

I’m supposed to be working on a Marine Bio assignment but staring at that old post is distressing.

To start anew, I’ll be using this blog to dump my thoughts, make new ones, etc. On anything and everything. I have no idea what’s going nor do I have much experience under my belt but I’ll put what I have out there and let you decide for yourself what it all means, if they mean anything at all.

Introduction

Hello! It’s nice to meet you.

I already wrote this all in an about page, but I figured I should actually make a post.

I’m currently a college student (studying abroad in Europe at the time of writing this). I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do with my time, but I realized that I wanted to share the songs I love and what I love about them with anyone who would listen, hence the beginning of the this blog.

I don’t have much of an education in music theory, and my career in piano was short and stressful. Yet, over the years I developed a deep love for music, and I just don’t think I can keep it to myself anymore (I also needed a new hobby other than playing Granblue Fantasy).

I don’t have any social media to link here, as I’d prefer to keep these two spheres of my Internet presence separate.

I hope you’ll stay with me in this journey to learn more about music, and I hope you’ll find songs you haven’t heard and may enjoy.
